15+ Women and a 50+ lbs Pot of Rice

Things are good here.

Just wanted to start out by saying conference was killer. How but Tad R. Callister laying down the facts of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon? Can't argue with that.

Second of all just wanted to tell you a quick story:
Right after conference we felt inspired to go drop by a potential investigator but unfortunately he moved. bummer.
That's not all though. The lord sent us there for another reason. We left his front door and noticed about 15+ people in the drive way next door, so us being missionaries and all just invited ourselves over! lol.
But we went over and offered our help with whatever was happening. They were all surrounding this giant pot on top of a propane stove. They opened it up and started just dumping in buckets of rice and ended up having us move this giant pot that was 50+ lbs of rice. They were all freaking out that we spoke Farsi and gave us a nice portion of the rice and a Persian dish called ghormeh sabzi. Goodness, so good! We were able to give out multiple cards. They were super nice but super Muslim so they weren't too keen to talk about Jesus Christ right then. Good times.
